Haha, I think Kahneman said something along the lines of if a simple algorithm/formula can replace it we should consider it but was also aware of the hostility to algorithms and how we as humans are more forgiving of people making mistakes while expecting perfection from algorithms :)
Right, and there might be some benefits from slow, mistaken decisions. Reading Kingsnorth "Against the Machine" - there are some good takeaways for data leaders by listening to both angles. Sounds like a future article haha.
Sounds like an argument in favor of The Machine :) Kahneman's work is fantastic, but check out Paul Kingsnorth's recent work as well.
